About Jodi
Jodi delved into the realm of Real Estate in 2016, finding her place at EXIT Realty Home Partner's in February 2018 as a part-time sales agent. The spark for her real estate journey ignited while she was on the quest for her dream home. Obtaining her real estate license, Jodi is driven by the genuine satisfaction derived from assisting others. She believes there's nothing more fulfilling than handing a buyer the keys to their new home, aiming to ensure that her role in their story concludes positively, transcending the transactional nature of real estate.
Married to her wonderful husband, Troy, Jodi, and Troy share a blended family of four grown children – Josh (26), Corey (24), Jocelyn (22), and Jared (20) – along with two grandchildren, Neva and Dominyk (ages 3 and 5), and another on the way. Outside the world of real estate, Jodi finds joy in horseback riding, gardening, and following NASCAR, fueled by her love for home rehabilitation and Fixer Upper. Originally from Michigan, Jodi graduated from Lowell High School, relocating to the Portland area in 2004 with a background as a legal assistant. She is an active member of the United Methodist Church in Maple Rapids, volunteering as the legal co-guardian for a distant relative with dementia in a nursing home. In a hypothetical lottery win, Jodi envisions building a small, enclosed community for people with dementia, complete with amenities like a theater, church, and grocery store, fostering a semblance of normalcy and preventing them from feeling "lost."
